So recently, my friend and I have been remixing songs to go along with our daily lives.
Here are a few samples:
Tune: "Killing Me Softly"
Strumming my pain with his whistles. Screaming my town with his words. Killing me harshly with his call, Killing my eardrums with his call, Telling the whole world where I live with his call.
I heard him call my bus name. I heard it yelled outloud. I ran to grab a seat before the bus pulled out. I prayed that he would finish but he just kept right on.
Strumming my pain with his whistles. Screaming my town with his words. Killing me harshly with his call, Killin my eardums with his call, Tellin the whole world where I live...with his call.
Tune: "Jingle Bells"
Dashing Through the streets
trying not to get hit
through the crowds we go
Laughing all the way
(Don't hit me!)
Avoiding busses and cars
Motorbikes and cows
What fun it is to stop traffic
Just by being white
Oh India crazy streets
At times i want to scream
"Leave me alone, Don't touch me, move to another seat."
Hey! India Crazy place
I know I don't fit in.
Please just let me go my way
and don't tell me where I live.
More to come as we think of more songs. It's quite fun and gets funnier the more tired we are.
